EA linguistics

There's nothing at all remarkable about this house (apart from the £650k price tag for a terrace in East Finchley), but it illustrates some futile linguistic gyrations by the estate agent.

The vendor clearly wants to achieve over £600k for it.  They initially tried asking for offers in the region of £650k, then went with offers in excess of £600k before reverting back to offers in the region of £650k.  The only thing we can infer from this is that so far, there have been no offers anywhere near the price they want.
